Transition of Thoughts

Weaving thoughts into words

100 word fiction: The pile-up

100 word fiction: The pile-up

PHOTO PROMPT © Ted Strutz

It had just been few minutes since the trailer had swerved to avoid hitting a car from the opposite side and then eventually become stuck due to the load. But the traffic pile-up had begun.

Being one of the main roads in the city, almost everyone had to take it every morning for work. And now with a trailer blocking the entire road, people were stuck in either direction.

Inside the trailer –

“We need to move to the side some way or another.”

“I have called the police for help.”

“I hope they get here before all hell breaks loose.”

Written for the photo prompt and you can read the other entries here.
